Method

Heat oil in a karahi or deep pan.

Add chicken and cook until lightly browned.

Stir in ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, crushed coriander seeds, black pepper, and salt.

Cook over medium heat until the tomatoes soften and the oil separates.

Add green chillies and continue cooking until the chicken becomes tender.

Sprinkle garam masala and simmer for 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh coriander and ginger.

Serve hot with naan or tandoori roti.
