Seekh Kabab

Juicy, smoky seekh kababs made with minced meat, aromatic spices, and fresh herbs, grilled to perfection. A timeless BBQ favorite that's perfect with naan, chutney, and a fresh salad.

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the minced meat with onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, coriander, mint, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, black pepper, garam masala, salt, and egg.

  2. Mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  4. Lightly grease metal skewers with oil.

  5. Shape the meat evenly around each skewer.

  6. Preheat a charcoal grill, BBQ, or oven.

  7. Grill the kababs while turning occasionally until evenly browned and fully cooked.

  8. Brush lightly with melted butter or oil during the final few minutes of cooking.

  9. Remove from the skewers and garnish with onion rings, coriander, and lemon wedges.

  10. Serve hot with naan and mint chutney.

  • Chilling the mixture before shaping helps the kababs stay firm on the skewers.
  • Avoid overworking the meat mixture to keep the kababs tender and juicy.
